Giving When It Matters Most

2020 has been a year like no other!  No single person, family, business or non-profit has been unaffected by the backlash of the pandemic.  Seclusion and quarantine are everyday words and hugging is a thing of the past.  We haven’t seen our elderly family members in months, or we’ve only seen them through a window or on a video chat on a phone.  Family gatherings have been cancelled and kids went a very long time without seeing their friends.  It’s been tough for everyone.

Some of us have been affected where it hurts – in the back pocket.  There’s been massive lay-offs, businesses closed permanently, hours cut and salaries reduced.  Some have drawn unemployment benefits for the first time in their lives.

Some have had to turn to churches and non-profits for help.  And they’ve stepped up in big ways to help people over the past year.  They’ve been affected too with fewer donations and the inability to fundraise in the ways they have been accustomed.

Churches are still open and giving hope and offering help.  Non-profits are still funding life-saving research and treatments for sick loved ones.  Now is the time to give when it matters most.  They need our help as well and your donation to the non-profit or church that matters the most to you is tax deductible.

Consider giving back if your budget allows.  You won’t regret knowing you’ve helped others in their times of need.  And who knows when you might need that church or non-profit!
